Our approach

Church and Community Mobilisation and Development: three tools that turn congregations into engines of lasting change.

Change that starts from within

Our development model, Church and Community Mobilisation and Development, helps churches and communities discover what they already have and use it to meet the needs they choose. It brings together three tools that work best together.

Three steps

1. Transformational Journey Curriculum

A Bible-based journey that helps church leaders and members understand their calling to serve the whole community.

2. Asset Based Community Development

Communities map their own assets (people, skills, land, institutions, faith) and plan from strength, not from need.

3. Restore Curriculum

Restoring the four broken relationships: with God, with ourselves, with others and with creation.

Strategic pillars

Three pillars guide our work

  1. Mindset change and capacity building: equipping churches and communities with knowledge and skills.
  2. Social services: water, sanitation, education and food security.
  3. Self-sustenance: alternative sources of income, a key lesson from COVID-19.
